Prior to joining Grameen, Krishnan held key positions including Managing Director India of Digital Green, Chief Operating Officer of Population Foundation of India, India Director of The Climate Group and Afghanistan Country Director of Actionaid International. His experience and interests includes Climate Change, Sustainability, Agriculture and Livelihoods, Women’s Empowerment and Enterprise-led development.

Krishnan has often joined organisations at pivotal moments to help transition, transform and grow. He has built strategic partnerships with governments, businesses, multiagency coalitions and civil society organisations. He is a sought after speaker at global events and is known to be an excellent trainer facilitator. Krishnan holds a bachelors degree in Physics and a Masters degree in Business Administration. He lives in New Delhi, India.
