Under UPDASP and SIMA, Grameen is being empaneled as a Cluster-Based Business Organization (CBBO) for forming and promoting FPOs under the Central Sector Scheme for the formation & promotion of 10,000 FPOs. Grameen has been allotted 5 FPOs under this project, 4 in Badaun and 1 in Shahjahanpur (districts of western Uttar Pradesh) as part of UPDASP phase I.
Additionally, there are 7 FPOs in Budaun and 7 FPOs in Shahjahanpur under UPDASP Phase II, within the framework of the Self-Reliant Farmer Integrated Development Scheme by the Uttar Pradesh State Government. Moreover, 5 FPOs in Balrampur and 3 in Basti have been allocated under SIMA, also under the Self-Reliant Farmer Integrated Development Scheme by the Uttar Pradesh State Government.
