Women Economic Empowerment

Dedicated to fostering economic empowerment among women and harnessing the untapped potential of women entrepreneurs to drive positive change within communities, thereby transforming lives.

We firmly believe that empowering women economically not only plays a pivotal role in eradicating poverty, but also serves as a fundamental catalyst for achieving gender equality and fostering sustainable development. To this end, our Women’s Economic Empowerment vertical is committed to investing in the transformative journey of women, as they break barriers and defy biases, realizing their fullest potential.

Through strategically designed interventions and our comprehensive Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) Framework, we are actively working to uplift marginalized women and adolescent girls in the South Asian region. Our aim is to empower them to become trailblazers of change, challenge prevailing gender stereotypes, and actively influence policies towards creating a more equitable and just world.

Central to our approach is the utilization of the WEE Framework, which guides the design and implementation of a diverse range of interventions. These interventions are specifically tailored to address the multifaceted gender barriers encountered by women engaged in economic activities, particularly within the realm of enterprises. By doing so, we strive to unlock the full potential of women entrepreneurs and create a lasting and positive impact on their lives and communities.
